Pressure washer replacement hoses

Compare SIMPSON pressure washer hose lengths, inside diameters, maximum pressure ratings and hot-water suitability. Start with your machine’s required fittings and operating limits, then choose the reach that fits the job.

Start with fitment: Check M22 insert dimensions or quick-connect sizes, rated PSI, temperature and your washer’s model-specific requirements. Do not choose by length alone.

How to choose a pressure washer replacement hose

A replacement hose must work with the pressure washer, the spray gun and the water temperature you intend to use. A longer hose is not necessarily a better replacement if its connectors or ratings are wrong. Use the model-specific pages as a starting point and verify the manufacturer’s current specifications before ordering.

1. Match the connectors before comparing prices

Start with the connection at each end of your existing hose. M22 threaded fittings and quick-connect fittings are different families; even M22 connections can have different insert sizes. A hose described as “3/8-inch” may refer to its inside diameter rather than the fitting size. Check the actual connection geometry, not just the product title.

2. Respect pressure and temperature limits

The hose’s maximum working-pressure rating must meet your equipment requirements. For hot-water machines, verify that the specific hose is rated for the intended water temperature; a cold-water pressure rating alone is not evidence of hot-water compatibility. Never exceed the lowest-rated component in your setup.

3. Choose length for the work area

A 25-foot hose is easier to manage around a nearby machine, while a 50-foot hose provides more reach without moving the washer as often. Longer 100- or 200-foot hoses can suit specialist jobs, but require more handling and careful consideration of equipment guidance. Avoid tight bends and stretched connections regardless of length.

4. Understand the SIMPSON hose families

MorFlex models in this directory include 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch hoses. Monster models are represented by higher-pressure 3/8-inch hoses, while Armor models include hot-water-rated options. These series descriptions do not establish interchangeability: confirm the exact model, fittings and operating limits.

Frequently asked questions

Will any pressure washer hose fit my machine?

No. A matching length or pressure rating does not guarantee compatible fittings. Confirm both ends, the machine’s operating requirements and any manufacturer-specific constraints.

Can I use a cold-water hose on a hot-water pressure washer?

Only if the hose is explicitly rated for the actual water temperature and other operating conditions. Do not infer hot-water suitability from a high PSI rating.

Is a longer hose always better?

No. Buy enough reach for your work area, but consider storage, routing and the manufacturer’s guidance on longer hose runs.
