Pressure washer hose fitting compatibility

Pressure washer hoses and machines may use different connection systems. A fitting that looks similar may still be incompatible.

M22 threads are not the whole story

M22 connections can differ in internal insert dimensions, including commonly encountered 14 mm and 15 mm variants. Do not assume that two products labeled “M22” will seal or operate safely together.

Check both ends

Inspect the washer outlet and the gun or wand connection. Confirm thread, insert dimensions, seals, and any quick-connect adapters using the manufacturer’s manual or documented specification.

Confirm operating limits

Check the hose’s maximum working pressure and temperature rating against your equipment and operating conditions. Do not exceed any component’s rated limits.

If compatibility is uncertain
